Work with Us
Industry and Government Collaboration
Transport Futures aims for its research to be industry relevant and have impact in the real world. This is why the ethos of the Hub is to be industry-led, collaborative and multidisciplinary. We would be keen to speak with industry groups, companies, government organisations if you have ideas, problems, proposals or projects that you want to discuss. Please email transportfutures@deakin.edu.au.
Academic Research Collaborator
Our research hub also welcomes and accommodates academic visitors and exchange students, to carry out collaborative research projects. Please email us using transportfutures@deakin.edu.au and we can discuss how to arrange this.
PhD Students
Please go to our dedicated PhD Applicants page if you are interested in joining us as a PhD student. See Transport Futures PhD Information
Research Fellows
Transport Futures Hub is always looking for talented, bright, dedicated individuals with a passion for research, development, and innovation to join or collaborate with us. All that we expect from you is a passion for what you want to do, shared vision, and willingness to put some time and energy so that our collaborative work can succeed. Some of our collaborators were/are students or professors from national and international universities, engineering firms and consultancies in the transport sector, as well as policy think-tanks.
- If you are interested in working with us as a PostDoc/researcher funded by your organization or government, we will be pleased to host you and provide access to our facility and office space. The duration of such visits can range from a few days to a year. We are happy to support suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Alfred Deakin PostDoctoral Research Fellowships (see ADPRF)
- If you want to visit us to explore collaboration, learn more about our work, or happen to be in Australia and want to visit us, we will be happy to host your visit! We generally encourage our visitors to present a school level seminar on their work.
